Who Are the Constitution Cats?

Cats signify all that’s cool in the world, so the old jazz slang “cat” seems like a natural fit for the creators, inspirers, interpreters, and defenders of the U.S. Constitution. A friend inspired this website and the connected t-shirt shop with his observations and quotes (along with about a quarter century of exchanged cat pics).

When I read selections of the Federalist Papers in college it all felt archaic, distant, and abstract. Not so now. —M.
